During the O-Shot Treatment

On the day of your treatment, the first thing we will do is draw your blood. This is a normal blood draw, just like you would get from your primary care provider. For prior preparations in getting ready for your procedure, try to stay hydrated. This will make your veins more accessible for the blood draw. Your blood will then be processed in the centrifuge to prepare your platelet rich plasma (PRP) for the O-Shot®.

In order to make yourself more comfortable during the treatment, we use our Queen V Numbing Creme, which is a mix of multiple numbing agents including lidocaine. This is applied to topically numb the PRP injection areas. Afterwards, you’ll relax for about twenty minutes after the numbing application, so the Queen V Creme can work its magic! It is also recommended to bring a book, an iPad or something to entertain yourself during this time. The numbing creme is then cleaned off, and an additional numbing agent is injected for maximum comfort. Then your liquid gold (or PRP) is injected into certain areas of your vagina. This is a very well-tolerated procedure, where most patients can’t feel any of the injections.
