BethAnne Seawell, PA-C
BethAnne is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 8 years of experience in urgent care/acute care medicine and over 2 years in Plastic Surgery. She is BLS/ACLS certified and has extensive experience in minor office procedures, suturing and wound care, as well as performing physical exams. She works alongside Dr. Diehl, performing pre-operative and post-operative exams and assists with surgical procedures. She is passionate about women’s health and loves being a part of a team that is positively impacting patient lives. When not at work, she enjoys activities with her husband, 3 little boys and 2 big dogs, trying new foods, exploring the outdoors and traveling.
Kathryn Jackson, RN
Kathryn is a board-certified nurse who has worked in the Aesthetics industry over 20 years. She started her nursing career at Duke University Medical Center in general medicine and gastroenterology. She transitioned into Medical Aesthetics in 2004 working in a Dermatology and Laser Center for 15 years. She has a passion for helping women look and feel their best. She pays special attention to detail and gives her clients natural and more youthful results. She likes to enhance her client’s own beautiful features. Kathryn likes to use collagen stimulators like Sculptra, wrinkle relaxers like Botox/Dysport and facial fillers like Restylane to restore a youthful appearance. With her Dermatology background, she loves to combine laser treatments to improve the skin’s texture and tone. Getting rid of broken blood vessels, brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles to help the overall appearance of the skin. When not working, she loves spending time with family and friends. Kathryn has 2 grown daughters, a husband of 30+years and 3 rescue dogs. She loves anything active and outdoors.
Kristie Foushee, RN
Kristie brings 35 years of nursing excellence to her practice, with a specialized focus on medical aesthetics for the past 23 years. Her career began at UNC, where she honed her clinical skills in post-operative care before rising to become the Director of the UNC Vein Clinic. There, she became a leading expert in the specialized treatment of spider and varicose veins. As the Director of UNC Vein Clinic, Kristie played a crucial role in helping other institutions across the southeast in establishing their vein clinics.
In 2001 Kristie transitioned into the field of plastic surgery working in the operating room. Her time in the operating room alongside plastic surgeons gave her an intimate knowledge of facial anatomy, which she now applies to her specialty in injectables. It was here that she discovered her true calling: medical injectables. Known for her meticulous technique and artistic eye, Kristie is a lifelong learner who continuously evolves her skills to provide the latest advancements for her patients. Above all, she treats every patient like family, building lasting relationships based on trust, knowledge and care. Her passion for aesthetics and her meticulous attention to detail have earned her a loyal patient base and a excellent reputation.
Heather Healy, LMA
Heather is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over six years of experience in the aesthetics industry. She began her career in Boston and is also a certified Phlebotomist. Currently, she is working toward her nursing degree to further expand her medical knowledge and skills. Heather is passionate about making women feel beautiful both inside and out, and she’s dedicated to transforming skin through a combination of in-office treatments and at-home products. She takes pride in getting to know each of her patients on a personal level and works closely with them to help achieve their unique skincare goals. When out of the office, Heather enjoys spending time reading, being outdoors and traveling with her family, friends and 2 pups!
Leslie Pawlak, Practice Manager
Leslie is the Diehl Plastic Surgery Practice Manager. She attended East Carolina University majoring in Education. Leslie has over 25 years of sales management and marketing experience. She has three grown children and when she is not running our day to day operations at Diehl Plastic Surgery, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the North Carolina Crystal Coast boating and fishing.
Jennifer Rodriguez-Diaz
Jennifer is the Front Desk Manager and Patient Care Coordinator at Diehl Plastic Surgery. She’s the first person to greet patients and visitors, and she loves making everyone feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they walk in. Friendly and approachable, she takes pride in creating a positive first impression and helping things run smoothly every day.
Lynn Frannson, Body Sculpting Specialist
Lynn is one of our primary CoolSculpting and CoolTone providers. She has worked in customer service in Sweden and in the United States for many years.
Lynn has provided CoolSculpting treatments in our office for over 13 years which makes her one of the most experienced CoolSculpting Specialists in the Triangle Area that provides CoolTone treatments which helps strengthen and tone muscle. CoolTone recently a favorite treatment for several of our GLP1 patients. In addition to attending several CoolSculpting specialty training programs over the years, Lynn was also invited to participate and is a graduate of the CoolSculpting Master’s Program.

Sharon Carducci, Body Sculpting Specialist
Sharon is one of our primary CoolSculpting and CoolTone providers. She has enjoyed many years in customer and administrative services in a variety of professional and volunteer organizations. She holds a BA Degree in Business Management from Moravian College.
Sharon has provided CoolSculpting treatments in our office for over 13 years which makes her one of the most experienced CoolSculpting Specialists in the Triangle Area that provides CoolTone treatments which helps strengthen and tone muscle. CoolTone is a favorite treatment for several of our GLP1 patients as well as many patients with lower back pain.
In addition to attending several CoolSculpting specialty training programs over the years, Sharon was also invited to participate and is a graduate of the CoolSculpting Master’s Program.

Riana Marino, Front Desk Receptionst
Riana is often the first person to greet patients and visitors, welcoming everyone with a friendly smile and a calm, approachable presence. She takes pride in making people feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door and plays an important role in creating a positive first impression while helping the day run smoothly.
Elena Vrettos, CNA, MA
Elena is a junior at NC State studying human biology and plans to go to PA school after receiving her bachelor’s degree. She is a certified nurse assistant and is working closely with Dr. Diehl and her staff to gain clinical experience. Aside from working with Dr. Diehl and her team, she holds an executive position in her sorority and is an active member of both the Women in Business Club and the Pre-Physician Assistant Club.
Ashlyn Ray, MA
Ashlyn is a junior at NC State University studying human biology and plans to attend medical school after graduation. She is working closely with Dr. Diehl and her staff to gain clinical experience. Aside from working at Diehl Plastic Surgery, she volunteers at UNC Rex and is an officer of NC State Women’s Club Soccer.
Yolanda Palmer, Patient Services Representative
Yolanda has more than 25 years of plastic surgery experience with 14+ years being at Diehl Plastic Surgery. She is fluent in Spanish and English and is the smiling face you hear on the phone. YOLANDA HABLA ESPAÑOL
Liz Mesias
Liz is a Virtual Assistant for Diehl Plastic Surgery. She brings over two years of experience as a medical receptionist, where she supported practices in keeping daily operations running seamlessly. With an additional six years in customer service and account management, she’s skilled at building strong relationships and providing the reliable support our clients can count on. Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her child.
Virginia Sumabat
Virginia is a Virtual Assistant for Diehl Plastic Surgery. She is a registered nurse and has a master’s degree in nursing. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 15 years. She started her nursing career as an Oncology nurse at Sacred Heart Medical Center. As a nurse who has a passion for aesthetics, she combines clinical expertise with compassionate, detail-oriented care, making sure patients are informed, prepared, and confident about what’s next. When not working, she loves spending time with family, making memories and enjoying the little moments that matter most.
Ashley Diehl, MA
Ashley is a Spring 2025 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a part-time medical assistant who helps with the clinic flow and assists with surgical and non surgical procedures. Ashley is a full-time PA student at High Point University. ASHLEY HABLA ESPAÑOL
Angela Smith, Front Desk Receptionist
Angela has been with Diehl Plastic Surgery for 5+ years. She is fluent in Spanish and English and helps with translation, administrative duties, CoolTone and Thermafacial procedures. Her beautiful art is seen all throughout the office. ANGELA HABLA ESPAÑOL
Debra Burton, RN
Debra is Dr. Diehl’s OR nurse for general anesthesia procedures. She has over 40 years of nursing experience, ten of those at Diehl Plastic Surgery.
Katie Castle, CRNA
Katie is a board certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA). She will be ensuring your safety and comfort while undergoing surgery. Katie has been practicing anesthesia for over twenty years at UNC and Wakemed and has been the primary anesthesia provider at Diehl Plastic surgery for the past 10+years. She is a busy working mom of three teens, loves to bake, and is a fitness enthusiast.
