Is ThermiVa® Right for You?

Deciding if the ThermiVa® treatment is right for you is a very personal decision. During your consultation, you can ask any questions that you may have about the treatment, symptoms and results.
If you are looking for a non-invasive option for treating vaginal looseness, incontinence, decreased enjoyment of sexual activity, or vaginal dryness, then ThermiVa® may be the perfect option.
Keep in mind that results, while sometimes experienced immediately, can take time to come to full effect. The ideal treatment is a series of 3, spaced 4 weeks apart. The series of 3 treatments is to give you the most optimal power and longevity to your result. Touch up treatments are recommended about once a year to maintain the result.
If you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ThermiVa® is not the right option for you. Dr. Diehl recommends that women wait for at least three to four months after childbirth to consider the treatment as it takes at least that amount of time for vaginal tissues to heal after birth.

What to Expect from ThermiVa®

Unlike other vaginal rejuvenation treatments, ThermiVa^® requires no anesthesia, no pain, and absolutely no downtime.

During your treatment, you will comfortably lie on your back. Then, the handheld ThermiVa^® device (the wand is about the size of your ring finger) will be applied to your vagina internally and externally on your vulva. The device delivers radiofrequency energy to gently heat your vaginal and vulvar tissues.

The effect of this radiofrequency energy is increased collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels. The boosted collagen restores a healthy skin tone and strengthens the vaginal structures.
