Is CO2RE Intima® Right for You?
If you are looking for an easy, non-invasive procedure for treating stress urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity, or vaginal dryness, then CO2RE Intima® may be a great option for you.
Some patients may notice immediate results, however, it may take time for you to experience the maximal effect of treatment.
The initial CO2RE Intima® treatment plan consists of 3 treatments. You will come in for a treatment every 4-6 weeks. This initial treatment series will bring you to your new baseline. The results tend to last you 12-18 months (and sometimes up to two years). Once you feel you are going back to your original baseline, it is recommended for you to return for one touch up treatment. Touch up treatments are recommended once every 12-18 months for maintenance of results.
What to Expect from CO2RE Intima®
CO2RE Intima® requires no injections, no pain, and no downtime from daily activity. However, it is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse for one week following treatment.
During your treatment, you will lie down in a comfortable position. Topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment areas. Then, the CO2RE Intima® handpiece will be inserted into your vagina and then applied externally to the vulva. The CO2 laser will then gently treat your vaginal and vulvar tissues for about 10-15 minutes.
The CO2 laser will increase collagen production and cause remodeling of the superficial and deep skin layers inside and out. This strengthens the vaginal structures and restores tissue health; allowing for healthy lubrication and increased sensation.
