Meet the Staff
Ashley Boachie-Adjei, PA-C
Ashley is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 16 years of medical and surgical experience. Working in a surgical sub-specialty has helped her to hone her appreciation for precision and has developed her discerning eye for detail. Ashley‘s main goal is to always deliver quality patient care and help to enhance one’s natural beauty. She is a certified injector specializing in the injection of neurotoxins and dermal fillers and has had extensive aesthetic training through Allergan.
BethAnne Seawell, PA-C
BethAnne is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 8 years of experience in urgent care/acute care medicine and over 2 years in Plastic Surgery. She is BLS/ACLS certified and has extensive experience in minor office procedures, suturing and wound care, as well as performing physical exams. She works alongside Dr. Diehl, performing pre-operative and post-operative exams and will be assisting with procedures. She is passionate about women’s health and loves being a part of a team that is positively impacting patient lives. When not at work, she enjoys activities with her husband, 3 little boys and 2 big dogs, trying new foods, exploring the outdoors and traveling.
Kathryn Jackson, RN
Kathryn is a board-certified nurse who has worked in the Aesthetics industry over 20years. She started her nursing career at Duke University Medical Center in general medicine and gastroenterology. She transitioned into Medical Aesthetics in 2004 working in a Dermatology and Laser Center. She has a passion for helping women look and feel their best. She pays special attention to detail and gives her clients natural and more youthful results. She likes to enhance her client’s own beautiful features. Kathryn likes to use collagen stimulators like Sculptra, wrinkle relaxers like Botox/Dysport and facial fillers like Restylane to restore a youthful appearance. With her Dermatology background, she loves to combine laser treatments to improve the skin’s texture and tone. Getting rid of broken blood vessels, brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles helps the overall appearance of the skin. When not working, she loves spending time with family and friends. Kathryn has 2 grown daughters, a husband of 30+years and 3 rescue dogs. She loves anything active and outdoors.
Leslie Pawlak, Office Manager
Leslie is the Diehl Plastic Surgery Office Manager and marketing coordinator for Dr. Diehl. She attended East Carolina University majoring in Education. Leslie has over 25 years of sales management and marketing experience from Small/Medium sized businesses to Fortune 100 companies. When she is not running our day to day operations at Diehl Plastic Surgery, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the North Carolina Crystal Coast boating and fishing.
Arlene Cordova, Patient Care Coordinator
Arlene is the friendly face you will see when you walk into our office. Known by our patients for her beautiful smile and friendly demeanor, Arlene is a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator and Front Desk Manager with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Arlene excels in providing exceptional patient care and effectively managing front desk operations. Her bilingual skills enable her to assist with translations, ensuring clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Madison Klucking, MA, CME
Madison is Dr. Diehl’s primary medical assistant. She assists with patients before during and after surgery. Madison has 4+ years experience in aesthetics training and is currently working on her nursing degree. Madison has a magical way of making patients feel very relaxed and comfortable and almost all greet her with a hug!
Lynn Frannson, Body Sculpting Specialist
Lynn is our other primary CoolSculpting® and CoolTone provider. She has worked in customer service in Sweden and in the United States for many years. She has been doing CoolSculpting® at Diehl Plastic Surgery for over 12 years and has also attended the CoolSculpting® Masters Program. Getting to know the patients and helping them feel relaxed and comfortable is her top priority. She is the CoolSculpting® /CoolTone Director in our office.
Sharon Carducci, Body Sculpting Specialist
Sharon is one of our primary CoolSculpting® and CoolTone providers. She has enjoyed many years in customer and administrative services in a variety of professional and volunteer organizations. She holds a BA Degree in Business Management from Moravian College and provides administrative services for Diehl Plastic Surgery. With over 12 years of CoolSculpting® experience and having attended the CoolSculpting® Masters Program, she is well-versed in evaluating and treating patients. She is the Director of Aesthetics in our office.
Heather Healy, LMA
Heather is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over six years of experience in the aesthetics industry. She began her career in Boston and is also a certified Phlebotomist. Currently, she is working toward her nursing degree to further expand her medical knowledge and skills. Heather is passionate about making women feel beautiful both inside and out, and she’s dedicated to transforming skin through a combination of in-office treatments and at-home products. She takes pride in getting to know each of her patients on a personal level and works closely with them to help achieve their unique skincare goals. When out of the office, Heather enjoys spending time reading, being outdoors and traveling with her family, friends and 2 pups!
Yolanda Palmer, Patient Services Representative
Yolanda has more than 25 years of plastic surgery experience with 14+ years being at Diehl Plastic Surgery. She is fluent in Spanish and English and is the smiling face you hear on the phone.
Jaira Barnhardt, Patient Services Representative
Jaira is a dedicated professional with nine years of customer service experience. A recent graduate of Gwinnett College’s Massage and Bodywork Therapy program, she is passionate about promoting wellness and relaxation through therapeutic practices. Jaira is actively pursuing licensure in Massage and Bodywork Therapy to further her career and enhance the patients experience in our office.
Liliana, CNA, Front Desk Receptionist
Liliana is another member of our front desk staff. She is currently in school to pursue nursing and has five years of experience in the medical field. She aims to become an aesthetic nurse.
Ashley Diehl, MA
inAshley is a student at the University of Pittsburgh and medical assistant who helps with the clinic flow and assists with surgical and non surgical procedures. She plans to attend PA school after graduation in May 2025.
Angela Smith, Front Desk Receptionist
Angela has been with Diehl Plastic Surgery for 5+ years. She is fluent in Spanish and English and helps with translation, administrative duties, CoolTone and Thermafacial procedures. Her beautiful art is seen all throughout the office.
Ashlyn Ray, MA
Ashlyn is a sophomore at NC State University studying human biology and plans to attend medical school after graduation. She is working closely with Dr. Diehl and her staff to gain clinical experience. Aside from working at Diehl Plastic Surgery, she volunteers at UNC Rex and is an officer of NC State Women’s Club Soccer.
Elena Vrettos, CNA, MA
Elena is a sophomore at NC State studying human biology and plans to go to PA school after receiving her bachelor’s degree. She is a certified nurse assistant and is working closely with Dr. Diehl and her staff to gain clinical experience. Aside from working with Dr. Diehl and her team, she holds an executive position in her sorority and is an active member of both the Women in Business Club and the Pre-Physician Assistant Club.
Debra Burton, RN
Debra is Dr. Diehl’s OR nurse for general anesthesia procedures. She has over 40 years of nursing experience, ten of those at Diehl Plastic Surgery.
Katie Castle, CRNA
Katie is a board certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA). She will be ensuring your safety and comfort while undergoing surgery. Katie has been practicing anesthesia for over twenty years at UNC and Wakemed and has been the primary anesthesia provider at Diehl Plastic surgery for the past 10 years. She is a busy working mom of three teens, loves to bake, and is a fitness enthusiast.
